Why is it necessary to assess the value of goods, equipment and machinery?
Goods and equipment belong to the fixed assets of any enterprise and are intended for the production of various products. The modern market is represented by both new and old equipment, which has its value. There are various legal situations, ranging from moving them across the customs border, obtaining loans, collateral, bankruptcy of the company, when you need to set a real price for them. To do this, the cost of equipment and machinery is estimated. This is a kind of commodity examination.
Also, various goods are the end product of any production and have generic features. In civil law, goods are things. They are used to meet the needs of both individuals and legal entities, and have their value. Over time, the price of them changes, and this is due to various factors. Goods are also objects of various obligatory legal relations and can move across the border, act as collateral, and be objects for repayment of various debt obligations arising between different economic entities. All this is impossible without an assessment of equipment and goods. Such assessment will be conducted in accordance with the most modern methods by highly qualified appraisers and experts of our institution.
Experts of our Center have the appropriate qualifications and modern methodological basis for such research. The conclusion of the examination or research can be used not only in litigation, but also in various government and financial institutions.
* The body (person) that appointed the expertise (involved the expert) must ensure the possibility of inspection of the object and appropriate safe conditions (lighting, free access, the possibility of inspection of the object from different sides, etc.).
* The above-mentioned expert specialty solves other issues related to establishing the value by agreement, but before appointing an examination or research, be sure to consult (free of charge) with an expert (specialist) in the field of commodity research of our Center for Forensic Science.
